armor can counter him pretty good

Counters to talon include:

All tanky casters. He's an AD caster with a 1 second silence
ALL bruisers in this game, especially Lee Sin and Irelia are extreme hard counters that pretty much can not be beaten
With Oracles he won't be able to escape during his ultimate
Armor is suprisingly effective
All stuns, silences, fears, taunts, roots etc. When that 1s silence ends and you're cced, you die. You're a melee version of an AD carry
AoE slows/stuns and similar effects

What talon counters:
Skillshot champions
Casters with low HP

I pwned a Talon top with armor seals, 21 in def, D Shield Janna.

It probably doesn't matter who you are as long as you have armor. Of course having sustain and CC to make him eat minion harass should he auto you helps.

Just switch with solo top (almost any standard solo top beats him now) , and don't call champions that counter you hard noobs, try to use your brain and find way to balance things out. Talon is only good as mid counter , so just make lane switch and watch him cry

Swain against talon is actually easy to win for Swain if he is good. Just be super aggresive early, as soon as you reach 4, harrass him each time he tries to lasthit, if he tries to harrass you, just wait for 1 sec silence to fade, catch him with W, use E-Q , he will die or take a lot of damage.

Talon will run out of mana after 3 combos while lee can combo all day long.
